To be a admitted as member of IWJA, Web Jewelers need to have a flawless business reputation. As a member they need to strictly maintain the highest level of personal integrity, honesty and business ethics:

  • Comply with all government laws relative to their Industry.

  • Support the objectives and actively defend the reputation of IWJA

  • Provide security for the processing of credit card transactions

  • Include physical location and contact details for themselves on their website

  • Display the total price consumers must pay for goods including delivery costs and provide a clear explanation of the delivery procedures

  • Advise the consumer if 'cookies' are required for the processing of data

  • Avoid exploitation of children

  • Provide standard of quality for their services and merchandises.

  • Have clear conditions of guarantee for all the merchandises sold on the Internet.

  • Have competent knowledge, expertise and competence to describe fully the quality and specifications of the merchandises and services offered for sale on their website.

  • Have ethical business practices in the sense of ensure continuous services both to clients and suppliers.

  • Respect copyright and patents laws in usage in their respective countries.

  • Refrain to trade with conflict diamonds or precious stones issued from conflict areas
